Penguatan Kapasitas Kepemimpinan Dan Pembukuan Pengurus Cridit Union (Pada Aliansi Perempuan Merangin/APM Marga Mulya Desa Pulau Tujuh Pamenang Barat Merangin)

Abstract

This community service activity was motivated by the partner’s main problems, namely the weak leadership capacity and bookkeeping system of the Credit Union (CU) management under the Aliansi Perempuan Merangin (APM) Marga Mulya, located in Pulau Tujuh Village, Pamenang Barat Subdistrict, Merangin Regency, Jambi. The lack of managerial competence and accurate financial recording has hindered institutional transparency and sustainability. The purpose of this program is to enhance community-based leadership skills and basic bookkeeping abilities so that CU administrators can manage the organization professionally and accountably. The methods used include workshops, practical simulations, interactive discussions, and online mentoring after the training. The activity involved 30 female CU administrators and members. Evaluation was conducted through observation, interviews, and pre-test and post-test to measure competency improvement. The results showed an average increase of 82% in participants’ understanding, 75% in activeness, and the adoption of a simple bookkeeping system by 70% of the administrators. This activity successfully strengthened participants’ leadership soft skills and basic accounting hard skills. It is recommended that similar programs be developed toward the digitalization of CU financial reports and advanced training in micro-enterprise management to expand the sustainable economic impact for rural women
